Bills did not get in either House or Senate. We will be working towards next year's submission. Please call the following Representatives Now! See below: As you may be aware by now, we have bills pending in both the house and the senate in Charleston. The house bill #5160 is essentially the same as the senate bill #632. Both are comprehensive and inclusive of all forms of geoengineering technology with significant penalties associated with non-compliance. Both invoke the enforcement capabilities of the Department of Environmental Protection, the state police, and the air national guard, when needed. We, at West Virginians for Clean Air, are very appreciative of your willingness to support this effort by calling the pertinent legislators in support of these bills. House bill #5160 has been sent to the house Energy and Public Works committee, chaired by Delegate Bill Anderson and on which are Delegate Jeff Campbell from eastern Greenbrier County, and Delegate Henry Dillon, a co-sponsor of HB 5160. Senate bill #632 has been sent to the committee on Natural Resources, chaired by Senator Bill Hamilton, representing Braxton and Pocahontas Counties. The vice chair is Senator Vince Deeds, and Senator Jack David Woodrum is a member.
